Eight new directions for the Wynn Media mark

Each option is shown on light, on dark, and at the sizes it has to survive: a browser tab, a watermark on a photo, a video lower third. They are built as live type and vector shapes so we can change anything quickly. Pick the ones that feel closest and we will refine those.

Where we are now

  • The M is the W turned upside down. That idea is the strongest part of the logo, and some options below keep it.
  • The white M is hard to see on light backgrounds.
  • The monogram, the name and the red lines each pull the eye. A larger name would give the logo one place to start.
  • The tan disc is distinctive, but the detail gets hard to read at small sizes such as a social avatar. Each option below is shown small.
Option 1

Lens Dial

A monogram in a ring of lens-barrel ticks. The most direct "this is a camera business" mark. Works as a round avatar, a stamp, a watermark.

Small
Option 2

Viewfinder

Camera frame corners around a spaced serif name. Calm, editorial, wedding-friendly, and it gives the tagline a home.

Small
Option 3

Camera HUD

The WYNN | MEDIA lockup from Slate sits in the center of a camcorder screen, framed by REC, timecode, 4K and exposure readouts. Playful and unmistakably video. Best as a video intro, thumbnail or social banner; it gets busy under about 200px.

Small
Option 4

Signature

A script name over spaced caps. The warmest and most wedding-first. Best for invoices, albums, gallery watermarks. Less punchy for documentary work.

Small
Option 5

Slate

Bold condensed type with a timecode line, like a film slate. The most documentary and the most modern. Reads well on video and thumbnails.

Small
Option 6

Record

A record button beside a lowercase serif name. Friendly and easy to say. Simple enough to animate as a video intro: the dot pulses, the name types on.

Small
Option 7

Lens + Viewfinder

Options 1 and 2 together: the Lens Dial monogram framed by viewfinder corners, with the tagline underneath. The most complete single lockup of the set.

Small
Option 8

Mirror

The W sits above a hairline and the M below it, so the M reads as the W reflected. Clean and modern, with a lot of presence as a stacked mark. Shown with each tagline so we can keep the one that fits.

Taglines

The current site has no tagline. Its page title is "Asheville Photographer and Videographer" and the home page opens with "Asheville Videographer and Photographer". These two are shown on the Mirror logo (Option 8) so one can be dropped.

Your day, as it happened.Wedding-first. Promises candid, unposed coverage.
Every moment, as it was.Quiet and confident. Works for both weddings and documentaries.
